3 months . 33 trusses . $300 each

In 2010, Haiti suffered a severe earthquake that rocked the country and damaged much of the infrastructure.  At Good Rest Home, the school that sat in the middle of the compound was reduced to rubble.  For 5 years that rubble existed as a heart wrenching reminder of the loss experienced in the earthquake.

In 2015, thanks to generous funds, CHF began rebuilding this school.  Both wings have been completed and classes are being held.  The final project is to raise the roof on the assembly hall connecting the two wings and completing the 8,000 square foot building.

This multi-purpose room will be the only indoor community gathering space on the entire campus, therefore being used for everything from a dining space during rainy weather to a meeting space for homework help after school.

$300 funds 1 truss and gets us that much closer to raising the roof on this project!!
