Carly Batten is 23 years old and from San Diego, CA. Her greatest joys in life are in time spent with her family, friends, and people in general. She has worked the past five years as an administrative assistant (which she's grateful for!) but is so glad for this opportunity to step away from the desk and pursue her growing desire to work more closely with people, and kids in particular. She also loves to sing, dance, cook, and eat (sometimes all at the same time) so going to Uganda is going to provide whole new experiences in all four, which is exciting!

My name is Lindsay Laliberte. I am eighteen years old and am from San Diego, California, Beginning in March, 2010, I will be living and working at Victor’s Christian School in Uganda for twelve months.
