UGANDA MEDICAL MISSION TRIP 2010
Date: June 17th – 27th, 2010
Where: Uganda, East Africa
Medical Mission: Northern Ugandan town of Gulu - Internally Displaced People Camp (IDP Camp).This is a 10 day medical mission trip for medical & non-medical volunteers.
Needs: We need qualified medical volunteers including: Physicians, Pediatricians, Dentists, Nurses, Pharmacists and non-medical volunteers. The non-medical volunteers will participate as support staff for the medical team.
Projects & Activities: The medical mission team will provide individuals with basic medical and dental care in several northern Ugandan refugee camps where health care is limited or difficult to obtain. The people who will receive assistance are among the poorest in Uganda. There are a high percentage of malnourished children who are usually suffering from upper respiratory infections, diarrhea, parasitic diseases, and dermatological problems. The women become pregnant at early ages, have several children and also suffer of precarious health.
Cost: $3,200 (Airfare, Ground Transportation, Lodging, Meals, Day Trip to the Nile)

CANYON SPRINGS CHURCH MISSION TRIP 2010
Date: July 10th - 18th, 2010
Where: Dominican Republic & Haiti
Who: A team of adults and teens from Canyon Springs Church will be partnering with Children’s Heritage Foundation. Their mission is: “Securing a future for disadvantaged children around the world.”
Mission: Our team will perform meaningful home repairs for several poor families along the Dominican Republic/ Haitian border. We will also share God’s love through Vacation Bible School in an orphanage along the border. The team will participate in a one-day community service project in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti.
We believe God will use this experience to create change in our lives and the people we serve!
Cost: $2,200 (Airfare, Ground Transportation, Lodging and Meals).

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC & HAITI MISSION TRIP 2010
Date: July 31 – August 8, 2010
Where: Dominican Republic & Haiti
Construction Project: The project will take place in the village of Mulineto – A small sugarcane village a few miles from the town of San Pedro.
Projects & Activities: The team will perform meaningful home repairs for several poor families in the community. No construction skills are necessary, just the willingness to serve people who are desperately poor and in need. Team members will also conduct Vacation Bible Schools and orphanage work. We believe that God will use the experience of serving others to create change in both the life of team members, and the people who are served.
Our trips are open to youth (14 years and older) and adults. Trips are family friendly and volunteers are encouraged to bring along a spouse or child (14 years or older).
Cost: $2,200 (Airfare, Ground Transportation, Lodging and Meals).
