One Man’s Plan to Help Re-build in Haiti

Thanks to an amazingly successful campaign and an incredibly patient wife, this man has a smooth face again!

In November, Michael Ball went on a trip to Haiti with us.  Moved with compassion, he made it his goal to raise $11,000 to re-build the school that once stood in the middle of the campus.  Through a very unconventional strategy, he vowed to not shave his beard until he had reached his goal.  In March, he topped the charts at just over $11,000 and broke out the razor!  Construction on the school has already begun!

As great as that is, the story doesn’t stop there.  Because of Michael’s excitement and passion about getting involved, his mother-in-law will be traveling to Haiti in July to experience, first hand, what Michael can’t stop talking about.

Thank you, Michael, and all the others who contributed to this project.  You have made a difference in the life of a child in need!
