PROGRAM DETAILS
Good Rest Home + School HAITI

The gated compound is equipped with boys and girls dormitories, bathrooms (with flush toilets + showers), solar lights, clean water drinking well, a primary school, a director’s home + office, kitchen, playground gardening plot, and a soccer field. Each child in the program lives in dorms on campus (or in the immediate neighborhood) and relies on sponsorship funds to cover 100% of their needs. These children benefit from sponsorship in the following ways:
3 meals cooked in-house each day
school fees, school uniforms + school supplies
‘dormitory’ style housing including mattress + bed sheets
emergency medical care
Wakiso Village UGANDA
The Wakiso Village program is multi-faceted with options for participation in the program in various ways. The campus includes a nursery and primary school, 3 children’s homes (as options for students who need boarding), a basketball court, playground, pit toilets, clean water drinking well, farmland, kitchen, school office + medical clinic staffed with an onsite nurse. Sponsored children in the program may live on campus in a children’s home staffed with a house mom or in the neighborhood with family members. Sponsorship funds cover most of the cost of the following things, however, parents or family members are still required to ‘top up’ and pay the remaining fees if they are able. It is an assistance program and gives families a leg up in helping their children thrive. Children in this program benefit from sponsorship in the following ways:
2 meals each day at school (morning snack + lunch)
school fees, school uniforms + school supplies
‘family’ style housing (optional + on an as needed basis) staffed with a house mom including mattress + bed sheets
on-site medical care
